Self-coached throughout his highly successful triathlon career Steven has built a simple but effective training philosophy based on a basic repeatable, volume oriented training week which progresses through the build towards your key events, or as an ongoing means to improving your efficiency and enjoyment of endurance activities. This approach has seen Steven Qualify for Kona every year he has tried, competing there five times.
